"Leatherhead" is the first track off El Colosso's forthcoming debut album, "Pathways" (due for release May 2017). It was recorded at Headgap Studios and mixed at Hothouse Studios by Jez Giddings and Craig Harnath. This track is the first single from El Colosso since "Cannonball" in April 2016.
lyrics
A slave running late at night
Leatherhead, you’re free to roam
You look away, but won’t you face me now
This slave – nowhere to go
Yes – you want it
Yes – it hurts you
You can make it bleed some more
You can try to
Make it harder
Fight your poisoned war
A traitor – left me so low down now
You’re choking, you got no air
Time to taste it, yeah your sick desire
Passion burning without a care
No – you hate it
No – it hurts you
You can make it bleed some more
You can try to
Make it harder
Fight your poisoned war

You know when you listen to an album and doesn't do it for you the first time? And then you listen again at a later time and it blows you away? How amazing is that? I 'm stuck on this album for a few days now, thinking "what the hell was I thinking?". Superb songwriting, killer vocal melodies. Jerry Cantrell is listening somewhere on his own and is smiling. Seriously, do not sleep on this album. Give it a spin today! Ioannis Valiakos
This album was pretty good. I liked the heavy sounds mixed with the clear, powerful vocals. This album is a slow burn, though. It gets better as it goes and builds to a truley epic finishing track. I will be listening to it again. Gregory
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021

The surprisingly comical new video from roaring metal group Red Fang is a tip of the hat to the original “Predator.” Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2016
